I too am a photographer and saying that you only photographed it puts you at fault just as much as the girl who put her ankles at risk. Something like liability insurance would be a good thing to look into because, unless she signed a waver saying she wouldn't sue for any damages (she thankfully didn't have) incurred on the set, then it is you that assumes the liability. Ask more questions next time and if you want to shoot dance, hire a real dancer.<p>This is all being taken way too seriously. This was a friend that I photographed and it wasn’t meant for the intentions of photographing dance really. She is a dancer who just started pointe and she just started practicing on the stage and I snapped a few shots.
